Evaluation guidance you can apply to any vendor. Including us.

Direct answer
This section provides vendor-neutral frameworks for evaluating school management systems, learning platforms and assessment software in the Ghanaian market.

The guides set out what to test in a demonstration, where costs hide, why implementations fail and which contract terms matter, rather than asserting a ranking.

Guides

  • Choosing school software in Ghana — fee and accounting fit including mobile money reconciliation, curriculum mapping depth and remapping cost, behaviour under power and network failure, three-year cedi cost of ownership, migration risk, and data ownership and exit terms under Act 843.

Get the vocabulary straight first

Category names are used inconsistently across the Ghanaian market, and a good deal of procurement confusion starts there — a “school portal”, a “result checker” and a “school management system” may be the same thing or three different things depending on the vendor. Check the education glossary before comparing products.

Due diligence

Edves facts holds the company data a procurement file needs. Data Protection Act 843 sets out the contractual data position, including the clause on AI model training and whether the supplier is registered with the Data Protection Commission.
